Species Description
Widespread in the South but severely under-recorded. Habitat includes: Sunny places with low, dense vegetation and clearings, and a rich supply of Moth larvae such as gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, meadows, scrub, field margins, hedgerows, woodland edge, railway banks, roadside verges, wasteland etc. Length: 7 - 15 mm. Flight period: May to October.
