Species Description

Common and widespread throughout the UK.

Stace 4:

Ssp. vulgare (Hartm.) Greuter & Burdet (ssp. trivale (Spenn.) Jalas).

Common throughout British Isles

Key:

Seeds 0.4-0.9mm, with tubercles about 0.05mm across at base; petals about 0.8-1.2(2)x as long as sepals
Lower stem internodes with hairs all round; leaves hairy on both sides
