Species Description
Common and widespread throughout the UK. Habitat includes: grassland, meadows, sand dunes, shingle. Perennial. Flowers: April to May. 1 plant can produce as many as 6,500 seeds and can remain viable in the soil for up to 40 years. Height: Up to 30 cm.
