Species Description

Common and widespread throughout the UK. Habitat includes: Disturbed, shady, often damp places such as woodland rides, gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, arable fields, wasteland, pavements, walls, roadside verges etc. Growing habit: Annual. ID: Leaf lobe longer than wide, flowers are smaller (less than or = to 6 mm across) and usually whitish to pale lilac blue. chromosomes: 2n=36. Classed as an Archaeophyte, this subspecies may actually be Native.
