Species Description
Widespread but patchy along the western side of the UK, being most common just North of an area from Liverpool to Manchester and the South-western part of the Bristol Region; elsewhere scattered and local. The Long Ashton Research Station (closed in 2003) attempted to claim this blackberry as its own and market it as Rubus 'Ashton Cross' and it is still marketed as such today Chris Bowers & Sons. How dare they!
