Species Description

Common and widespread throughout the UK. probably the most common Woodlouce in the UK. Length= up to 17mm. Habitats include dark hiding places e.g. gardens, parks, allotments, church yards, woodland, wasteland. under stones, logs, in walls, bark. Other names include: Rough Woodlouse. Can tolerate drier conditions than most Woodlice.
