Species Description
Common and widespread throughout the lowland parts of the UK. It is absent from much of Scotland. Habitat includes: Wet places such as at the base of trees, fen carr, marshes, ponds, sluggish streams, wet woodland etc. It often grows submerged. Other names include: Stream-side Leptodictyum-moss.
