Species Description
Widespread but rare and very localised throughout lowland parts of the UK. Habitat includes: reed-beds, marshes etc. Sometimes individuals may wonder to similar sites such as lakes and reservoir's. Population: about 400 pairs. Diet: Small birds and mammals.
