Species Description
A Non-native which is widespread and fairly common in the South, spreading further North. Habitats include: Any where with Lilies such as gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, woodland etc. Other names include: Scarlet Lily Beetle. Flight period: April to September. Life story: Beetles overwinter in the soil and emerge the following spring. Length: Up to 10 mm. This Beetle was first recorded in Britain in the late 1800s.
