Species Description
Widespread and locally common in the southern half of the UK especially in the south-west but less so in the north. Habitat includes: wasteland, cliffs, meadows, gardens, allotments, churchyards, roadside verges. Particularly likes Composites such as Common Fleabane but I've also observed it visiting Herb-Robert, Black Medick, Garlic Mustard and Ivy-leaved Toadflax.
