Species Description
Common and widespread throughout the Southern half of the UK. Becoming more scattered further North. Habitat includes: Prefers areas with sandy and calcareous soils e.g. meadows, road side verges, gardens, allotments, parks, cemeteries, wasteland, coast. Flight period: Females= mid-March to October, males= late June/early July.
