Species Description
Widespread but scarce and local in the southern half of the UK. Habitat includes: Flower-rich sites such as species-rich grassland, limestone / chalk downland, old quarries, coasts etc. Hosts: Melitta (Blunt-horned Mining Bees). Flight period: Late June to Mid September.
