Species Description

Determined by Malcolm Storey to be an Endasys - probably Endasys testaceus.

I can't identify this species. It is locally common in my garden. Females search around in the crevices of an old brick wall which is where I presume the wasp finds its unidentified host - could be Nematini - Euura sawflies. Ants (Lasius niger), Laceweaver Spiders, Woodlice and snails exist in the wall. Length: c. 8 mm. Flight period: late April to September.

Workings out:

Rhembobius? Lysibia nanus Hemigastrini Glyphicnemis profligator or Rhembobius Phygadeuon DIPLAZONTINAE
