Species Description
Common an widespread throughout the UK, especially in the West. Habitat includes: Disturbed places with nutrient enrichment such as arable fields (gateways, field margins, bare patches in improved grassland, beside tracks etc.), wasteland, road side verges, gardens, parks, allotments, cemeteries, pathways, sand dunes, shingle. It is fairly tolerant of trampling. Flowers: April to October. Annual. Other names include: Clammy Chickweed, Sticky Mouse-ear Chickweed.
