Species Description
Scattered throughout most of the UK but scarce and in decline in the South. Now called Potentilla neumanniana. Habitat includes: Dry, undisturbed, basic rich soils such as limestone rocks (inland and coastal), crags, screes, dune slacks, quarries, dry chalk grassland etc. Stoloniferous Perennial - mat forming. Other names include: Spotted Cinquefoil. Flowers: April to June. Height: Up to 15 cm.
