Species Description
Common and widespread throughout the UK except for Central and Northern Scotland. Habitat includes: Rough grassland, road side verges and hedgerows, cliffs, costs, wasteland, allotments, parks, scrub, woodland edge. Flowering time: May to September. Perennial. Identification: Stem has 2 ridges; leaves with translucent glands (hold the leaf up to the light); sepals equal; some black glands on petals, sepals and leaves.
