Species Description

Widespread but occasional throughout the Southern half of the UK. Habitat includes: Dry, calcareous soils in places such as rocky outcrops, cultivated land, roadside verges, hedge banks, scrub, rough grassland etc. Flowers: July to September. Growing habit: Rhizomatous Perennial. It is in decline.
