Species Description
Very rare. The Avon gorge is the only place it grows naturally in he UK (where it has been known since 1686) both on the Bristol side and N. Somerset side. It has been introduced elsewhere but all have been short-lived except one in Combwich (S. Somerset). Habitat includes: Shallow soils on carboniferous limestone, scree, rocky ledges etc. Growing Habit: Perennial.
