Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent throughout the UK. Habitat includes: disturbed places, preferring well-drained, calcareous soil such as arable fields, railway ballast, forestry tracks, old walls, quarries, wasteland, road side verges, allotments, parks, gardens, churchyards etc. Flowers: May to October. Growing habit: Annual. Other names include: Dwarf Snapdragon (North America). It has declined due to the intensification of farming.
