Species Description

Distinctive. Similar to C. reuteri. Possibly referable to C. semirubella. Plant c.17.5 cm tall, leaf rosette small, c.10 cm across. Out leaves entire and dentate, inner leaves divided, rhomboidea, yellowish-grey-green, bristly hairy with numerous simple and stellate hairs. Leaves lanceolate, less than or equal to c. 5cm, pointed at apex, petiole short. Stem leaves scarce, simple-sagittate, dentate, less than or equal to c. 2.5 cm, auricles c. 3 mm. Stem suffused grey-purple, pruinose, hairy at base with predominantly stellate and few simple hairs, becoming very sparse further up the stem, c. 1.3 mm in width at the base to less than 1 mm towards the apex. Pedicels erecto-patent, mostly less than 1 cm, about the same length as the capsule, covered and clothed like the upper stem. Capsules more or less straight-sided, ever so slightly scoliotic with an attenuate base, c. 7 x 6 mm, notch deep, widely angled, style not exceeding it but levelling the lobe turning point. Lobes oblong-triangular, outwardly directed, suffused brownish-purple on adaxial side, green on abaxial side. Flowers c. 3 mm across, petals white, oblong-spathulate, exceeding sepals. Sepals green, margined purple-magenta in bud, turning yellowish-green at base and suffused brownish-purple with white margins at maturity, sparsely hairy.

This looks like it might be the same.
