Species Description

Widespread but local in the South and more scattered further North. Habitat includes: Favours Dry places with base-rich soils such as limstone and chalk in places such as scrub, hedgerows, woodland edge, rock faces, top of inland cliffs, road side verges, quarries etc. Other names include: Mealy Guelder-rose, Wayfarer. Named Wayfaring Tree because it gows close to paths. Height: Up to 5 m. Deciduous Perennial.
