Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent throughout the UK but absent from much of the South. Habitat includes: Wet, boggy ground near to water such as by ponds, lakes, rivers, canals, marshes, fens, wet woods, winter-flooded dune-slacks, roadside verges etc. Growing habit: Deciduous Perennial. Height: Up to 14 m. Flowers: May to June. Other names include: Laurel Willow.
