Ser. Rhamnifolii. Appears to be closely related to R. lindebergii which hasn't been recorded in the Bristol region before and a patch near Cleeve Wood along Ferry Lane might be that - which I discovered when browsing Google Maps street view but have also walked past it during the meeting at Cleeve Wood in May 2023 and thought 'ooh that looks interesting' but annoyingly didn't take any photos. It isn't very fertile and the stems are more hairy than is typical for R. lindebergii. It might be a hybrid with something else.
