WildBristol.uk - Discovering Wildlife in Bristol

Widespread and locally frequent around the Bristol Region (mainly following along the river Frome) and Devon; very scattered elsewhere. I suspect the origins of this species may have arisen from a cross between R. rubritintus and R. wirralensis probably in the river Frome area where it is most concentrated and where the two species frequently grow side by side.
