Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent throughout the UK though mainly in the South and West.

Stems to several m, trailing, rooting at tips, with dense brownish bristles; leaves simple, ovate, pinnately 3-5-lobed; flowers in racemes, 20-25mm across, white; fruit orange; (2n=28). Neophyte-naturalised; grown as ground-cover but spreading and naturalised in hedges and shrubberies; frequent in Britain, Isle of Man and Ireland; China.
