Species Description
Fairly common and widespread throughout the UK, more so in the Midlands. Habitat includes: Damp places e.g. under stones logs etc. in places such as gardens, parks, allotments, cemeteries, wasteland, scrub, hedgerows, woodland etc. Length: 2 - 3 mm. Identification: can very hugely but it has a multi-barred cross pattern on its abdomen, distinct colour change at the joint of sections 2 and 3 of the antennae.
