Species Description

Widespread and fairly frequent in the southern half of the UK, becoming very rare in the north. Habitat includes: hedgerows, scrub, woodland etc. Food plant: Hawthorn and Blackthorn. Flight period: April to June. Length: 8 - 11 mm.
