Species Description
Scattered but rare and local in England and Wales. It is probably under-recorded given the food-plant's status. Habitat includes: Anywhere with the food plant e.g. gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, woodland, hedge-banks, scrub, roadside verges, wasteland, wetlands, stream-sides etc. Flight period: May to June. Food plant: Geum's (Wood Avens, Water Avens and cultivars). Length: 5.5 - 6.5 mm.
