Species Description

Widespread but scattered in the South, becoming rare in the North. Habitat includes: Anywhere with roses such as gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, field margins, woodland, scrub, hedgerows, wasteland, coasts etc. Life story: Larvae feed on the foliage of Roses. Flight period: April to July. Length: 7 - 9 mm.
