Widespread an fairly frequent throughout th UK up to Southern Scotland after which it becomes scarce. Habitat includes: woodland, parks etc. Flight period: July to August. Diet: Larvae = various deciduous trees including Oaks and Beach. Wingspan: 16 - 22 mm. ther names include: Oak Lantern, Oak-skeletoniser Moth.
