Species Description
Common and widespread but patchy in the South, being scattered and local in the North. It is most common in the West, the Midlands, around Oxford and East Anglia. Elsewhere it is scattered and local. Habitat includes: gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards etc. Wingspan: 25 - 28 mm. Flight period: May to June, late July to September.
