Species Description
Native to the Himalayan region. Exists in the Avon gorge. Currently there are only 2 left out of the original herd of 6 males introduced to the 'Gully' in 2011. Since then 2 have been killed by dogs chasing them off the cliff as two separate incidents one of which the dog also died. And the other 2 died of old age.
Life expectancy= 10-12 years.
