Species Description
Fairly common in the Southern half of the UK but was once very rare and was on the Red Data List. It was confined to southern coastal districts between Dorset and Sussex but an expansion started in the mid twentieth century, spreading Northwards up to Yorkshire. Habitat includes: wetlands, wasteland, dry heathland, woodland rides / clearings. Nymphs appear by May, Adults by August, where they persist until early winter. Omnivorous.
