Species Description
Rare and confined to the East of the south West including Bristol. Habitat includes: closely-grazed, calcareous grassland, steep slopes on chalk downland / limestone, grazed pastures, field margins, track-sides, rock outcrops etc. This sedge needs ants to disperse its seeds. Perennial.
