Species Description
Widespread and locally frequent throughout England and Wales. Habitat includes: Dry calcareous sites with short or sparse vegetation such as chalk downland, limestone grassland, coasts, wasteland, chalk / limestone quarries, woodland rides / clearings, heathland etc. Flight period: May to August. Length: Up to 6 mm.
