Species Description
Scarce and localised in south-central England, becoming scattered further East and West. It is increasing and expanding its range northwards. Habitat includes: well-drained, sunny sites with bare patches such as scrubby chalk and limestone grassland (often where moles are present), calcareous woodland clearings etc.
