Species Description
The continental subspecies, occurring as a migrant; predominantly in the south. Habitat includes: May be found anywhere, including gardens. Food Plant: a variety of umbellifers such as Wild Carrot (Daucus carota), Wild Angelica (Angelica sylvestris) and Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare). Flight period: mid May to late September.
