Fairly common in the Southern half of the UK. but very rare elsewhere. Habitat includes: Fairly lush vegetative areas on plants such as nettles. E.g. parks, allotments, gardens, church yards, meadows, scrub, hedgerows, woodland, wasteland, river banks, road side verges. Feeds on small insects.
