Species Description
Widespread and in preferred habitat fairly common but declining due to overgrazing of Salt marshes and drainage of farmland so birds are being concentrated more towards the coast. Habitat includes: Salt marshes, flood plains, mudflats, estuaries, river sides, coasts, farmland.
