Species Description
Widespread but scattered and scarce in the south-east. Habitat includes: Places with coniferous trees such as parks, estates, churchyards, forestry plantations etc. Life story: Larvae feed within the bark of various coniferous trees, including: Picea, Abies, Pinus and Larix. Adult seen: May to August. Length: 4 - 7 mm.
