Species Description
Common and widespread in England, Wales and a band across Central Scotland but patchy and absent in much of the North. Habitat includes: Anywhere with the food plant such as gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, coasts, roadside verges, field margins, woodland, hedgebanks, wasteland etc. Food Plant: Umbellifers such as Hogweed. Length: 3 - 4 mm.
