Species Description
Widespread and locally frequent in the southern half of the UK; scarcer in the north but under-recorded. Habitat includes: Areas with lots of flowers and vegetation especially Umbellifers e.g. meadows, scrub, roadside verges, woodland rides etc. Life story: Parasitic on the larvae various moth species.
