Species Description
Widespread and fairly frequent throughout the UK though mainly in the South. Habitat includes: Anywhere close to woodlice and often found in compost heaps, sheds, under stones and logs, generally near human habitation e.g. gardens, parks, allotments, churchyards, wasteland etc. An introduced species to the UK, native to the Mediterranean. Body length: Females = 11 - 15 mm, Males = 9 - 10 mm.
