Species Description
widespread and fairly common throughout the UK. Habitat includes: tree trunks especially Common Beech. Tends to like damp, sheltered places especially sheds e.g. gardens, parks, woodland, cemeteries, allotments. I've personally seen this species inside houses usually to escape the rain when the weather gets damp around August to Autumn. They build a very fine web which appears almost invisible. Length= 4mm.
