Species Description

A rare spider; sparsely scattered over England and Wales with one record from Scotland. Thought to be native to Macaronesia but is now cosmopolitan and probably arrived via imported house plants from Europe. First recorded from Britain in 2015. Habitat includes: on low down objects close to habitation such as low herbage, window sills.
