Pond 7

Description

A round man-made pond originally used for cattle. It has since been colonised by a wide variety of flora (most noticeably Bull-rush) and fauna. Out of all of Ashton Courts ponds, pond 7 is by far the most biodiverse. Home to a vast number of aquatic life as well as visitors including: Roe Deer. However in recent years, like everywhere in Bristol, is sadly suffering from the massive increase in passing dog walkers, who's dog's can't resist a paddle and thereby churning up the mud along with all its inhabitants.
