Herb to 1m; basal leaves ovate, cordate at base, 6-20cm, with longer petiole; calyx 20-25mm; corolla 30-35mm, yellow. Neophyte-naturalised; banks by roads and railways, rough ground; persistent or more or less naturalised in few places in England and Scotland; Turkey.
