Species Description
Widespread and locally frequent throughout the UK. Widely naturalised. Habitat includes: Disturbed and sandy places such as sand dunes, streets and pavements, roadsides etc. Other names include: Winter Purslane, Miner's Lettuce.

Annual to 30cm; stem-leaves fused to form cup-like structure at base of inflorescence; petals <5mm, white, entire or slightly notched; 2n=36. Neophyte-naturalised; weed of cultivated and waste ground; scattered throughout British Isles, locally common but rare in West Britain and in Ireland; West North America.
