Species Description
Hylotelephium spectabile x H. telephium = H. × mottramianum 'Herbstfreude'. Commonly grown in gardens and sometimes gets discarded.

Hylotelephium 'Herbstfreude' (Sedum 'Herbstfreude'; H. spectabile x H. telephium) - Autumn Stonecrop.
Differs from H. spectabile in most leaves alternate, with narrowly cuneate (not broadly cuneate to rounded) base, suberect petals, and stamens 0 or only up to about 2mm; sterile. Neophyte-survivor; grown and escaped as for H. spectabile; scattered in Britain, relative abundances uncertain, garden origin. Often translated as 'Autumn Joy'.
