Species Description
Widespread but scattered and uncommon throughout the UK. Habitat includes: Grassy places such as banks roadside verges, track-sides, old pits and quarries, tips, wasteland etc.

Stems sprawling, to 1.2m; leaves with 11-25 leaflets, each 6-20mm, elliptic to oblong; flowers (5)10-20, 8-15mm, white to pink or purple; fruits 2-6(8)cm, with 3-8(12) segments; (2n=24). Neophyte-naturalised; in grassy places and rough ground; scattered through Britain North to Central Scotland, South East Ireland, Guernsey; Europe.
